Parent Governor – Wes Vernon

Wes became a co-opted governor in November 2016 and then a parent governor in October 2020.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DOES WEsley BRING TO GOVERNING OUR SCHOOL?
- Wes works outside of Education in the private sector as a Design Studio Manager.
- Within his role he has significant experience in liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers, working on projects from a brief through to final production.
- Wes has two daughers who have attended the school.

ABOUT ME

Having a two daughters who have attended Woolston CP and living in the area I was delighted to be invited to join the Governing body as a co-opted governor.

I am passionate about Woolston CP and the education of our children and relish the opportunity to work with the other Governor, teaching staff and leadership team to make Woolston CP the best school it possibly can be and return it to it’s outstanding status.
